Look at the past the singers back in the day had talent and vocal skills and they had to be able to sing. Now a days anyone can be a singer. If you can sing 3 notes and hold it. You can be a singer. Autotune looses the authenticity of the artist true vocal talent. I rather hear the artist be slightly out of tune than be autotune for a performance. We older generation still live and feel that we vinyl collectors collect them for the unique sound that came out and the artist vocal wasn’t messed with autotune. I want to see and hear the artist voice and notes without autotune. Ask artist like Barbara streisand, pavorottie, donna summer these are some of the artist that had true vocal talent. Even Whitney Houston had tremendous vocal talent.
